Vw Golf Driver Door Wont Lock

The central locking on my vw golf mark 5 has stopped working. If your early to mid 200 s audi or vw is gabbing problems with either side door electrical locks windows or anything electrical start by looking here. Problem progressed to display saying driver s door open and leaving the dome light on and display with the drivers door icon lit up.

The drivers door won t lock using the key fob but if i use the blade it will lock fine.

Hi i have a problem with my mk5 r32. All doors lock with the fob or door switch except passenger door. If i lock then car using key fob and open the door the alarm goes off. There is life in the battery in the key fob.

No where will you find this information on the web. The door lock works in only one direction. Believe me i looked for days wh. Key inserted into door would work.

This issue also indicates a bad lock actuator. Locks work from the switch but not the remote. The filler cap release button in the cockpit doesn t work either. Some other details passenger door can be opened with the door handle just fine the door lock switch seems to work fine as it will lock the other 3 doors.
