If your car door lock actuator is not working properly a common problem is that the plastic air reservoir at the bottom of the actuator is broken or crack. Pull off insulating mat in area of door lock. Check insulating mat and clip retainers 9. Unhook control cable from inside door opener.

Pry door lining 4 out of retaining clamps on at top of sealing rail with mounting wedges 5 and simultaneously remove from inner door panel. Disconnect electrical connectors from door lining 4 and lay down door lining 4. Install hinge strap 8. First open retainer for release handle unscrew screw 9 from handle recess and remove hinge strap 8 with release handle through installation opening in inner door panel.
