Join pieces in the corners with 45 degree angles. Cut the wainscoting to fit around the room. The wall grows thicker and created a protrusion of the lower wall out from the upper half of the wall. Ceramic tile can be a colorful dramatic wall covering but people can grow tired of looking at it over time.

Typically you will see wainscoting somewhere between 3 and 4 feet high on the bottom part of the wall. Wherever the panels meet along a straight portion of the wall cut the panels on a 45 degree angle so the pieces will match up to hide the seams. Installing wainscoting especially waterproof beadboard can give. One piece should be cut at a 15 degree angle to the front and the complementary angle on the back.

Drill through the grout lines and attach the strips to the studs in the wall using screws. I solved this issue by gluing a plain piece of trim along the top edge of the beadboard. Secure your wainscoting in place with masonry screws and a drill equipped with a carbide tipped drill bit. Affix the beadboard panel over the tile wall placing it against the wall so it rests on top of the baseboard molding and then straighten it so it lays flat on the wall.
