My ds4 charges pretty fast when plugged into the ps4. Mine does when it s charged via a wall. When powered off the system cannot charge controllers via usb download content or install content. The light goes away after fully charged i haven t tried charging with a pc yet.

Powered off the ps4 is powered completely off. Working as a grown man s night light this is one instance where i actually appreciate the light bar on my playstation 4 s dualshock controller. Found this video online and tried it. I have tried resetting it and i have tried it with multiple charging cables which definitely still work as my other ds4 controller still works and charges fine. Are y all aware of any tips or tricks that make use of the ds4 with the ps3 easier. It takes approximately two hours to charge the controller if it initially had no remaining charge.
